Rauma
Rauma is the third largest container terminal in Finland (54% market share in Western Finland and 15% countrywide) and the largest paper export port for the country (around 50% of Finland's total paper maritime export). In the 2007 calendar year Rauma is expected to handle paper tonnages of over 4.5 mtpa and container volumes of c. 170,000 TEU, corresponding to a container growth over the five last years of 96% (CARG of 19%).
Rauma is a concession port. The length of the current concessions at Rauma are to 2037. Rauma has sufficient deep water to enable handy and panamax class vessels to use its facility. Rauma has ample capacity to expand volumes.
